Net Friends is hiring!
We're looking for an Event Coordinator to own the planning, promotion, execution, and follow-up of all Net Friends marketing events. This role supports both new customer acquisition and cross-sell/upsell efforts with existing customers, while also managing event-related marketing funds (including MDF).
YOUR ROLE AND LOCATION
This position is an in-person role based in our Durham HQ, with local travel and occasional conference attendance. Core business hours are 8:30am - 5:30pm M-F. This position has a a salary range of $50,000 - $55,000.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Plan, organize, promote, and execute prospect and customer-focused events
Own event logistics end-to-end (venues, vendors, registration, and on-site execution)
Manage MDF and other event-related funding with vendors and distributors
Track event outcomes and coordinate post-event follow-up with Marketing and Sales
Attend conferences, vendor events, and local business gatherings (Chamber events, local events in targeted verticals)
Support the broader Marketing team with copy editing, design iteration, and social engagement
Participate in marketing planning, task, and data-oriented meetings
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
0-3 years of experience in marketing, events, communication, or related fields
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Clear written and verbal communication
Comfort coordinating with vendors, partners, and internal teams
Willingness to work in-person and attend events as needed
