The Surgical Technician assists in the operating room, caring for a wide variety of patients across multiple specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma. The role involves scrubbing and circulating, and requires experience in a Level 1 trauma center.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in surgical procedures as a scrub and circulating technician.
- Care for patients undergoing various surgical specialties.
- Work with DaVinci robots used by multi-services.
- Participate in transplant programs involving livers, kidneys, and hearts.
- Maintain and clean equipment.
- Document patient care and related duties appropriately.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- NBSTSA Certification or 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technician
- Two (2) years of OR experience in a level 1 trauma
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- Tech License (NY License ONLY)
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in scrubbing and circulating.
Special Considerations:
- Must be able to work D/E/N rotating shifts.
Scheduling:
- 12-hour shifts.
- Rotating Day/Evening/Night shifts.
