Aliant Resources , a well-respected boutique recruitment firm specializing in employment and recruitment, seeks a talented paralegal. For our candidates, we simplify intricate legal standards into clear, usable guidance, enabling businesses and individuals to fully comprehend their rights and responsibilities in employment. The Paralegal will be crucial in supporting our recruiters and working alongside our team, ensuring excellent legal service in a collaborative environment.

Initial Client Engagement: Act as the first point of contact, assessing client needs, explaining our firm's processes, scheduling meetings, conducting conflict checks, and managing initial consultations with care and professionalism. The paralegal should adhere to established procedures and demonstrate strong attention to detail.

Document Preparation and Legal Assistance: Prepare, revise, and finalize immigration and employment documents, demand letters and pleadings. Manage correspondence, ensuring legal accuracy, while maintaining organized documentation.

Qualifications:

• Active member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario or currently practicing in another jurisdiction and willing to be licensed under this body.
• Prior experience within an employment law office is highly valued.
• Excellent communication abilities, professional demeanor, and meticulous attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
