Our client is seeking a Project Manager to join the operations team and lead high-performing groups on mission-critical, enterprise-level initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who thrives in the spotlight, embraces challenges and drives toward meaningful business outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead complex, high visibility initiatives that align with key business objectives.
  • Develop a deep understanding of business goals to plan and execute effective project strategies.
  • Foster collaboration among business teams, IT and external vendors.
  • Hold vendors and partners accountable for delivering on scope, timeline and value outlined in statements of work.
  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand and anticipate priorities.
  • Ensure projects remain on track with key priorities, budgets and deliverables.
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans, revising them as needed to reflect evolving requirements.
  • Assign tasks based on team members' skills, experience and strengths.
  • Monitor and report on project performance to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to drive implementation.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, communication and client relationships skills throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies and opportunities; manage resources, milestones and deliverables accordingly.
  • Resolve project issues effectively, escalating when necessary using appropriate forums.
  • Serve as a liaison between vendors and internal teams to ensure clear and timely communication.
  • Provide recommendations to address project-related challenges and risks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • 5 + years of experience delivering projects in the property and casualty insurance industry
  • 4-8 years of project management experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with an innovative, proactive approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong customer focus and the ability to anticipate needs and respond to feedback
  • Effective presenter and communicator, with the ability to tailor messages to various audiences
  • Business process design and business analysis experience (preferred)
  • Ability to work onsite three days per week at a regional office location
Pay Range:
The anticipated pay range for this position is $50 - $60 per hour.

The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
