Job Description

This position is in a laboratory involved in understanding the role of dopamine in decision-making brain circuits. The candidate's role will be to carry out behavioral tasks using mouse models. 

(50% effort) Running behavioral tasks: Responsibilities include conducting experimental tasks with mice, ensuring proper data collection and organization, and monitoring the health of the mice, including general well-being, weight, and behavior. 

(20% effort) Data Analysis: This includes data analysis using Matlab, generating figures, monitoring progress, and communicating findings with lab members.  

(30% effort) General Laboratory: Duties include animal care, maintenance of experimental rigs, and overall lab upkeep, including organization, cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with protocol.

All required qualifications must be included in the application materials

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience or related field (e.g. Biology, Psychology) or a combination of related education and work experience to equal four years.

Must be willing to work with mice.

Preferred Qualifications:
Laboratory experience working with rodents
