Premier Placements is interviewing for a 2 nd Shift Maintenance Technician opportunity in Richmond, VA. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for completing repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems and equipment within the facility. This position requires the ability to work independently and be able to carry out various maintenance tasks in the manufacturing environment and warehouse.

Schedule: Monday Friday 4:00pm 12:30am Must have flexibility to work Saturdays and overtime as needed.

Pay Rate: $25/h-$28/h + $3 night shift differential !

Additional Incentives: Attendance Bonus $300 bi-weekly

Responsibilities:

• Assist the maintenance manager in the overall maintenance department including corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance, parts procurement and storeroom functions.
• Perform maintenance on PLC machines, CNC routers, and other machinery.
• Basic maintenance of facilities including plumbing, electrical, and minor HVAC repairs.
• Trouble shoot, diagnose, test and repair manufacturing machines, pumps, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and other machines as necessary.
• Create accurate, legible and detailed repair notes in daily log and/or computer system database including accurate part numbers used and equipment serviced.
• Review list of parts needed for service and assist Operations Manager in maintaining supply.
• Performs the maintenance and repair of rental fleet trucks, trailers, forklifts, and other yard machinery/inventory.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical production equipment maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read schematics, manuals, blueprints, and work orders.
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
