Responsibilities:
- Providing skilled nursing care in the Interventional Radiology department.
- Performing patient assessments and administering medications.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
- Responding to stroke calls on a rotating on-call schedule.
- Charting patient information in Epic.
- Potentially floating to other Providence facilities (Mission Laguna).
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- Minimum of two years of hospital experience.
- Experience in stroke care.
- Proficiency in clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Current BLS certification.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
Special Considerations:
- On-call requirement: 12 calls per 6-week period, including one weekend.
- Must live within 30 minutes of the hospital.
- Potential for cross-coverage to other Providence facilities.
