INTERNAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE - PARTS, ACCESSORIES & APPAREL - PLANO, TX
We are looking for an Internal Sales Representative who will report to the Regional Sales Manager, and who’ll be tasked with helping our dealer partners drive their retail business. As part of your role, you’ll be significantly contributing to the organization's growth. You’ll be at the forefront of engaging and advising our dealer network on best practices.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Cultivate dealer partnerships by serving as a business partner to support dealers’ long-term success. Maintain regular dealership contact through regular calls and function as their primary liaison for wholesale orders.
Research and analyze dealer performance and market potential by utilizing available reporting and tools. Develop strategic sales plans to deliver district retail and market share targets.
Deliver retail and wholesale objectives: mobilize dealers to engage in programs while providing go to market updates and market insights. Influence dealers to adopt BRP best practices around inventory management, sales process, retail environment, merchandising and product training. Empower, develop and inspire dealership teams to drive retail results by delivering an elevated retail customer experience.
Actively participate in dealer marketing and collaborate with dealers on retail activation initiatives to optimize retail opportunities. Support dealers with best practices and certification efforts.
Track and document dealer contact activity in SalesForce.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Required:
2 plus years of relevant experience in sales
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to have difficult business conversations.
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to work with a variety of individuals and departments.
Initiative and drive: demonstrated track record of initiating and successfully implementing projects or ideas.
Passion and enthusiasm for the powersports industry and outdoor recreational products.
Business acumen: analytical skills, understanding of profit centers and the ability to recognize improvement opportunities.
Required to work onsite in the Plano, TX office 50% of the time, or the equivalent of 5 days per 2 weeks.
Travel required is 5%.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree or MBA in a relevant field (marketing, business administration, sales, finance)
Powersports, marine or automotive industry experience
Parts, accessories or apparel sales experience at the dealer level, with an OEM (original equipment manufacturer) or with an aftermarket distributor.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and problem-solve
