Job Description
Hybrid 3 days/week (Tues - Thurs) to Charlotte, NC / Hartford, CT / Columbus, OH
Design and develop end-to-end solutions on the Pega platform.
Create reusable components, frameworks, and integrations using Pega PRPC best practices.
Implement complex workflows, business rules, UI components, case management, and data models.
Lead Pega architecture design sessions and guide technical decisions.
Mentor junior developers and provide code reviews and technical oversight.
Partner with business analysts, architects, QA, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards.
Develop and optimize integrations using REST, SOAP, Kafka, MQ, JDBC, and other middleware technologies.
Troubleshoot performance issues and fine-tune application components.
Enforce Pega guardrails and best practices during development.
Participate in sprint planning, story estimation, and technical documentation.
Support deployment activities, DevOps pipelines, and post-production enhancements.

Skills and Requirements
8+ years of hands-on Pega application development experience.Pega Certifications
Strong understanding of Case Life Cycle Design
Decisioning, Data Pages, Activities, Reports
UI/UX within Pega (Harnesses, Sections, Controls)
Pega Integration capabilities
Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, etc.). Experience with Pega Customer Service (Pega CS), Pega Marketing, or other Pega frameworks.
Background in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, insurance, government).
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Performance tuning and application optimization experience.
