HVAC Installer

Location: Greater Lansing area, MI

Shift: Day shift

Pay: $20-$28/hour based one experience

Job Summary:

The HVAC Installer will be responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial and industrial buildings. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and associated components in commercial and industrial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure accurate installations.
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials such as sheet metal and piping according to system specifications.
• Perform start-up and testing of new HVAC systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Identify and resolve installation issues efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while working on job sites.
• Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and other team members to complete projects on time.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working condition.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in commercial or industrial HVAC installation.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation techniques.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams.
• EPA 608 Certification (preferred).
• Sheet metal fabrication and pipefitting experience is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments, including rooftops and confined spaces.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
