The Pediatric Coach may be called upon to provide support and intervention for caregiver teams as they attempt to work together, including problem solving and conflict resolution services as they attempt to collaborate around the needs of the child. They may help to negotiate the bridge between meeting familial social, and medical goals.

Learning Customization and Facilitation

The Pediatric Coach will assist children with medically complex diagnoses by providing their families and health care providers with education and training. The learning support will be targeted to meet each child’s specific needs in a way that empowers each child’s community to support them in the best way possible. Leveraging learning that is available through the PCCRC and located on the MyODP website, the Pediatric Coach will be responsible for facilitating training including classroom-based, small group, and individualized training.
