We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Safety professional to join our team in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety and be able to effectively communicate safety policies and procedures to all levels of employees. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and/or implement site/GC established safety policies and procedures – ensuring knowledge and implementation is adhered to by all.
• Conduct regular field safety inspections and/or more formal audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Must be able and willing to engage negative behavior and/or conditions to complete resolution.
• Provide safety training for all employees and ensure that all safety training is up to date.
• Investigate accidents and incidents and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that safety is a top priority on the site.
• Maintain accurate records of all safety-related incidents and activities – entering the approved data software for advancing and /or data retention.
• Be capable of working with multiple subcontractors and their respective safety representatives.
• Ability to work extended work hours during the week and weekend (over 40).

Requirements:

• Minimum of (5) years of experience in construction safety.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other safety standards.
• CHST certification is preferred.
• Experience with building data centers is a plus. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and more collaboratively, as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant safety data analysis/retention software.
• Knowledge and experience working with lower tier subcontract documents and requirements thereof.
