Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Clinic

Location: St. Anthony, MN

Schedule:

• Shift: Days
• Hours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

Hourly Rate: $22.23 $27.37 (based on years of experience)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support its clinic operations in St. Anthony, MN. This role focuses on managing customer flow, supporting providers in direct patient care, and performing both clinical and clerical duties. Candidates will serve a diverse patient population ranging from infants to geriatrics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rooming patients and gathering medical histories
• Administering immunizations, injections, and medications per provider direction
• Collecting lab specimens and performing phlebotomy (if required)
• Performing clinic-based lab tests
• Supporting prescription refills and communication with patients
• Assisting with x-rays (if certified as an x-ray operator)
• Providing telephone and triage support
• Facilitating communication between patients and providers
• Supporting front desk and check-in functions
• Managing inventory and supply ordering
• Assisting with prior authorizations and paperwork

Reporting & Team Structure:

The CMA reports directly to:

• Physicians & Providers
• Registered Nurses
• Clinic Supervisor
• Clinic Manager

Requirements:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
• Relevant clinical experience preferred
• Competency in standard MA tasks including injections, lab work, and patient rooming
• Strong communication skills and adaptability to different clinical situations
• Willingness to complete additional training and skill evaluations based on clinic requirements
