Business Studies teacher needed ASAP in Qatar | Immediate interview taking place over skype

Our client is located in the heart of Qatar, Doha. Doha is the capital of Qatar and is now a thriving country to be working in. The school is a UK Curriculum school mainly with western teachers and a mixture of Qatari and some expatriate students. The school is also accredited by the Council of International School and is also accredited by the International Baccalaureate also.

Requirements

1. Degree in Business Studies with a PGCE or teaching license
2. At least 2 years of teaching experience
3. A very hihg command of written and spoken English
4. Up to date with recent UK teaching methodology
5. Able to use technology in the classroom
6. Has experience of teaching students that are ESL

Job Description:

1. Plan effective lesson of Business Studies to deliver up to A level
2. Create resources in advance to ensure all students have the necessary facilities to accomplish tasks
3. Set homework and provide feedback to students
4. Ensure that resources are fit for purpose and used with health and safety guidelines
5. Monitor pupils progress through the use of benchmark data and provide feedback for students to raise their achievement
6. Ensure that formative assessment is regularly carried out so your students are aware of their current level and where they are heading
7. Teach lessons to cater for SEN and EAL students also
8. Promote an enquiry based learning model so students can learn independently
9. Be a good team player
10. Be IT savvy and be able to use technology in the classroom
11. Attend Business Studies staff briefings
12. Attend and contribute to whole school briefings
13. Be involved and/or offer extra-curricular activities

We are looking for a teacher that has stability in their CV and confident to teach up to a high level. You need to be a teacher that can promote enquiry based learning where students ask questions and are able to work out how to solve problems

Salary Package:

1. TAX FREE salary up to 13,000 QAR per month
2. Two-year contract
3. Furnished apartment, either one bedroom or two depending on the seniority of the position.
4. Electric and water bills paid (not more than 200 Qr.)
5. Wireless internet provided
6. Round trip tickets yearly to point of origin or other destination with equal ticket price
7. National Health insurance registration
8. One-time shipping allowance of QR 1400
9. 50% of the teacher’s children fees equal to our school fees. (Maximum 3 children)

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:

Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:

A salary from 9000 up to 13000   QAR (Qatar Riyal)per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
