Adventure Spirits Distilling in Whitehouse, OH is looking for a bar manager to join our 12 person strong team. We are located on 10907 Waterville Street. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, reliable and looking to grow a long-term career.

Job Description

Effectively supervises and manages all bar operations in order to create the highest quality of guest experience and comfortable environment. Develops a team of mixologists and lounge attendants that deliver the speed of service and accurately prepared mixed beverages at all times. Delivers the exceptional Guest experience through responsible alcohol service. Controls beverage costs, production, labor and manages beverage quality. Optimizes profits by increasing sales through cross product promotion.

Responsibilities

• Manage all areas of the bar including inventory levels, cleanliness, safety and schedule
• Train, and develop bar team members
• Address and resolve customer concerns in a friendly manner
• Promoting add on sales and product engagement
• Elevating team moral and proper business conduct
• Overseeing all aspects of the bar operation and customer service during shift
• Promoting highest quality guest interactions

Qualifications

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of bar equipment and processes
• Licenses or certifications that apply in the area
• 2 years' experience in a bar position preferred
• Experience managing bar staff
• Pass Ohio background check
• Flexibility and critical thinking skills

• Meeting Beverage cost, waste, and variance budget
• Grow sales to meet or exceed annual sales budget
• Team Member turnover and cohesion
