An ?ACES Enrollee? is a participant in a grant program established through a Cooperative Agreement funded by the USDA-NRCS and administered by NEW Solutions.This opportunity applies to applicants legally eligible to work in the United States.Qualifications:Minimum of 20 year(s) of experience in Agronomy, Biology, Environment and Natural Resources, Forestry, or other Plant Sciences related field OR BA/BS Degree in Plant Sciences, Agronomy, Environment and Natural ResourcesKnowledge and understanding of NRCS functionality and extensive experience working with NRCS conservation planning and pest management related tasks in addition to strong working knowledge of the USDA National Organic Program.Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPointMS Teams, Zoom, RUSLE2, Win-PSTDuties:Assist the team with duties related to the development of technical guides and other technical resources, revision of handbooks and manuals, technical assistance to state and National staff, and provide training associated with the Agronomy Discipline relevant to organic production and management. The primary purpose of the position is to serve as an organic specialist, assisting the team with high-priority tasks to provide support to national, state, and field staff. Specifically, the position will have the opportunity to work on mutually agreed-upon tasks in support of agency organic initiatives.
