About me
From an early age, I have been fascinated by colors, shapes, and sports, and this fascination has never left me. Even as a child, I illustrated many books and painted pictures. And so my hobby became my profession. I am grateful for this and consider myself lucky to be able to spend so many hours immersed in art. It is also always uplifting when viewers are positively influenced by my work.
Introduction
My artistic works contain a variety of playful colors and delicate, vibrant variations. I incorporate all facets of sport and movement into my works.
The desire to preserve, direct, and transform energy finds artistic expression in my paintings. I don’t just want to achieve a visual effect with my paintings; rather, my works should also touch the viewer’s psyche.
The unconventional use of different painting techniques and materials makes each picture a new experience. Like a bud that blooms again and again, but always makes the flower appear different.
Biographie
I am a trained graphic designer with over 30 years of professional experience in the fields of graphics, design, and marketing. After completing my basic training at MJM Publicité in Nidau/Bern and the Bern School of Art and Design (1991–1995), I worked as a graphic designer at the MJM Publicité advertising agency in La Neuveville until 2003, where I was responsible for all graphic design work, print media, and supervising trainees.
In 2003, I joined Pharmavital AG, now IFAK DATA AG, in Biel, where I still work today, developing logos, corporate identities, websites, media screen spots, photo retouching, 3D objects, and designs for exhibitions and events.
Sports
In my free time, I devote myself intensively to sports. These include judo, taekwondo, kickboxing, boxing, full contact, kung fu, taijiquan, and qi gong, in which I have already achieved some success in the past.
I currently have the opportunity to further my training in Taiji and Qi-Gong, and have already benefited from the knowledge of great masters from China.
Sport is an important balance for me and a central part of my life.
